We had a wonderful experience with Legacy Construction! Our bathroom renovation project had time constraints that Legacy worked with professionally and successfully. The workers were on time, professional, friendly and respectful of our property and our opinions. The end result exceeds all of our expectations. The workers wore masks when they were on site and were conscientious about Covid safety protocol. The communication was great. It was a delight to work with Eric, Billy, and the team!

After 20 years it was definitely time for a kitchen update. Knowing Brad and Eric for over 10 years, Legacy Construction was my first stop. Brad seamlessly coordinated the renovation, from the demo to new cabinets to refinished floors, new appliances, beautifully painted walls…everything! We worked with Legacy Construction to update the home we purchased for our relocation from Western Massachusetts to Rhode Island two years ago. After what felt like days of researching contractors, we narrowed our list down to four to bring into our home for estimates and ideas. Legacy was scheduled as our last visit and meeting with them was a breath of fresh air. We were feeling pretty hopeless after a morning of meetings with contractors that we felt weren’t listening to us, telling us our ideas were impossible, or scoffing at our budget. When Legacy came, they listened, asked questions, were thorough and helped us plan renovations within the budget we had. We signed on with them and their work was nothing short of miraculous. We have a 1920s colonial revival that required some significant kitchen renovations, as well as wallpaper removal, fresh coats of paint, and a complete transformation of one bedroom into a master bath. Their design was perfect, and the vendors they connected us to for everything—from tiles to countertops to cabinets to toilets—were extraordinary. Their attention to detail was great, the workmanship was of high quality, their advice came from years of experience and wisdom, and their patience with and consideration of us as we lived in our home while they worked was much appreciated. Legacy took great care of us and helped us to create a home that we love living in. We highly recommend!

We cannot say enough good things about our recent top to bottom renovation with Legacy. Their workmanship was first rate. They bent over backwards to accommodate our every wish. And though we changed our minds several times, they came through time and time again. It is this singular ability to listen that really impressed us. Not to mention coming in on budget and on time. Eric C. and his partner, Bill, provided top of the line service, materials, and workmanship. Contractors they brought in i.e., electrician, carpenters, plumber, provided excellent service, were respectful, worked diligently. Weekly online status reports were provided by Eric so nothing slipped through the cracks. When a few unforeseen items arose which added to the scope of the initial project, Eric communicated timely and addressed accordingly and still managed to stay on schedule. We had an unusually rainy spring season, yet his team managed to pick up the pace and make it all happen. I would use them again and again! 5 stars for Legacy!

From the outset, when the construction bids were being reviewed with multiple builders, it became evident none approached the personal involvement and attention to detail exhibited by the Legacy group. The reconstruction — a century old carriage house — was extensive, complicated, and subject to the requirements of the town's Historic Commission. As the project proceeded —and it proved to be as complex as forecast—it became obvious we made the right choice. The Legacy team exceeded all our expectations.
